Throughout his professional career, Mr Egbuonu has successfully co-founded and scaled several high-growth businesses. As Co-Founder and Executive Director of Travelbeta, he helped transform the company into one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing online travel platforms, serving thousands of customers and generating millions of dollars in annual revenue. As Managing Partner at Mintyn Digital Bank, he has contributed significantly to the growth of one of Nigeria’s leading digital banking platforms, helping expand financial access and inclusion for individuals and businesses.
His entrepreneurial portfolio also includes ventures in hospitality and transportation technology, reflecting his ability to identify market opportunities and build solutions that address real-world challenges. Known for his strategic thinking, business acumen, and people-centred leadership style, he has led teams, secured investments, developed growth strategies, and forged partnerships that have delivered exceptional results.

The Co-Founder of WeShare Charity Foundation, Mrs. Ifunanya Egbuonu exemplifies the powerful intersection of healthcare expertise and humanitarian service. A licensed pharmacist in both Nigeria and Canada, she brings extensive experience across multiple areas of pharmacy practice, including retail, hospital, and specialized compounding care.
Educated at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, she has built her career on a foundation of clinical excellence, innovation, and a genuine commitment to improving lives. Through her leadership at WeShare Charity Foundation, she continues to spearhead initiatives that provide hope, support, and opportunities for those facing hardship.
Her career journey includes working with Medplus Pharmacy, one of Nigeria’s leading retail pharmacy chains, where she delivered patient-centred care in a dynamic community setting. She also gained valuable hospital experience at a military hospital, including hands-on exposure to infectious disease management through her work in an HIV clinic.
Currently, Mrs. Egbuonu has been practising pharmacy within the compounding industry in Canada for over four years, bringing specialised expertise in the development of customised medications, including hormone therapies and veterinary formulations. She plays a key role in managing the veterinary arm of the business, supporting tailored treatment solutions for animal patients. She is proudly licensed by the Canadian pharmacy regulatory board, holding professional standing across North America — a testament to her commitment to the highest standards of pharmaceutical practice.
Her passion for serving others extends far beyond her professional career in pharmacy. She is deeply committed to supporting vulnerable individuals and families, driven by a selfless belief that everyone deserves access to care, education, compassion, and the opportunity to thrive regardless of their circumstances.
Her dedication to helping those in need is rooted in years of healthcare experience and firsthand encounters with individuals facing medical, financial, and social challenges.
